Under the expert guidance of tutor Marie Louise Williams, you will learn how to select and handle your willow to make and create a willow dragonfly and fish that you can suspend to dance in the wind in your garden or home.
This is a great course to take to see if you enjoy working with willow before embarking on more ambitious projects.

In all willow workshops you will learn about different varieties and treatments of willow and how to harvest, buy, sort and soak it for use in making baskets, sculptures and art. You will also have ample opportunity to ask questions as we work.

All workshops give you skills for life that you can adapt to your own creations.

Skill level: Complete beginners

Skills learnt: Willow corn dolly weave, regular weave, using a bodkin.
