Liwei Chen

[caption id="attachment_283" align="alignnone" width="150"] Liwei with some of her paintings[/caption] Born in the city of Kunming in Yunnan province, south west of China, which province has 25 nationalities, Liwei is a traditional paint artist. Her works are Chinese free hand brush painting. She also does Chinese Calligraphy. "I paint flowers, birds, bamboo, landscape...... My calligraphy always write poems, beautiful and peaceful. Some of My Chinese fine art on silk." Liwei has taught at the Multicultural centre at Wirral since 2011. She also has run workshops for schools, cultural events and elderly residents.

"I enjoy dealing with different ages and nations, ability groups, introduce Chinese cultural and art, trying to be the bridge of communications."

Liwei was at Multicultural centre teaching Chinese art to different age groups of students.

She has also taught Chinese painting in local art galleries, such as the Williamson Art Gallery, and the National Art Gallery London.
